This build is so strong in 1v1 vs melee classes it feels like free win. Here a link to my videos: videos aren't guides but if you have questions about the specs and items and how it works you can ask me. There are still enough points in holy that you can heal in raids with this spec (i cleared naxx like this) and do pvp outside of the raids without needing to respec. There are many different builds that only work with a few unique items because of how procs and spellpower skaling works.I made a few PvP videos where i show Holy-reckoning, Ret-reckoning and Shockadin spec in action. My favorite build is the holy-reckoning build. Paladins are pretty complex in classic to be honest and it's not that obvious because the info is not in the game. Raiding is just not the most fun thing to do in this game but iv'e done it to get gear which i need for the more enjoyable things in the game: Open world pvp, BG's and 5man dungeons. I think raiding is boring either way so it doesn't matter if I spam flash of lights as a paladin, frost bolts as a mage, shadowbolt as a wl or look at my auto-attacks when playing Ret. Ret-paladins are only not viable in try-hard speed running guilds but i would assume that's not your goal anyway? I personally always raided as healer because holy paladins are very strong and i was still able to get all the Ret-gear that i wanted. I have a lot of experience with paladins in classic and in my opinion it's a very fun class.Yes, paladin have low dps in raids but still we had Ret-paladins in our raids. I’m open to maybe a caster, but I’ve always preferred melee and enjoy it much more (I understand Druid and shaman are also casters, but they’re also melee) I don’t mind not having crazy damage like most classes, but certainly want to make an impact.įrom all of your experiences, what do you all think is the most fun overall class that brings something else to the table rather than just raw damage. However with these 3 it just seems like their damage isn’t viable so I’m afraid the class would fall short of fun. I was looking at the 3 hybrid classes, shaman, DruidĪnd paladin. I’d also like a class that has some really interesting lore behind it (quests, storylines etc) I’m looking for a more “chad” class that’s more supportive and helpful to others, whilst still having a good toolkit to solo play, do raids and pvp. I’ve always been your average damage enjoyer such as a rogue, hunter or warrior but I want to make a nice change going into it again I’m looking to get back into classic wow, and unsure what class to pick.
